Hi! I'm so glad you're here! Let me tell you a bit about me and why I do what I do.

I first took a class to learn to prepare tax returns because preparing my personal return was a three-day, hair-pulling, keep those kids away from me annual nightmare. (Sound familiar?) I figured if I could just learn what some of those stupid questions on the 51 different forms actually meant then I'd be able to spend less time worrying about doing it wrong.

Luckily for me I had the most excellent instructor and I discovered that I genuinely liked the puzzle of income taxes. For more than 16 years I've been working with taxpayers to untangle the confusion and complexity of their filing.

I started my own tax business in 2020 and am so delighted to be able to work directly with each of my clients to help them understand their unique tax situation and how to plan for their desired outcomes.

My analytical side enjoys the ever-changing complexity of income taxes and guiding clients through the maze. My expressive side enjoys reading a wide variety of books and spending time with my constant furry sidekick, my Great Dane Ivy. Both sides combine in my deep love of quilting - playing with fabric is my preferred way to spend any free time.
